Honiton: Woman airlifted to hospital after road traffic accident

The police are investigating a road traffic accident which led to a woman being airlifted to hospital, and they are looking for witnesses to come forward.

Officers attended the scene at around midday on Saturday 26 February. The crash involved a vehicle and a motorbike on the westbound carriageway of the A30, near Honiton.

The motorcyclist, a woman in her 50s, sustained serious injuries and she was airlifted to Derriford hospital. Her condition has since been described as stable and her injuries are not thought to be life changing.

The road was closed for approximately two hours whilst the Alliance Roads Policing Team checked the scene, and the police would like to thank the public for their patience.
