Honiton marked Remembrance Day yesterday (13 November).

A parade consisting of veterans and youth groups set off from New Street and marched towards St. Paul's Church, where a wreath laying ceremony took place.

The event was organised by the Honiton British Legion. Paul Shaw is a member of the Honiton British Legion and he told Nub News: "The sun shone as the good people of Honiton remembered those who paid the ultimate price in war and conflict."

Large numbers of the public turned out to see the annual event.
