The train line between Honiton and Exeter will be closed from Sunday 25 to Friday 30 October due to maintenance work.

A replacement bus service will be in operation to and from Exeter, with the normal service running between London Waterloo and Honiton.

What's happening:

Network Rail will be renewing a major junction between St James' Park and Polsloe Bridge.

This work will help to keep services on the branch line running reliably and reduce the possibility of delays to your journey.

On Sunday 8 November:

To complete the works, buses will again replace trains between Exeter St Davids and Honiton.

If you're changing between train and bus at Exeter St Davids staff will be on hand to help you find your way.

Replacement buses will run on the following routes:

Exeter St Davids – Honiton (stopping at all stations): Hourly, operated by South Western Railway

Where to catch replacement buses:

Exeter St Davids - Front of station

Exeter Central - Front of station

Honiton - Outside main station entrance
