In September a group of committed friends and fitness fanatics will be participating in the Alzheimer's Trek26.

They will be walking together across miles of the the English Riviera to raise funds for, and the profile of, The Alzheimer's Society. Each member of the "Magnificent Seven" need to raise £300 to qualify but they aim to push the bar just that little bit further.

To that end a fundraising day at Tesco Honiton was arranged on Saturday 12 March, where they took turns in manning two spin bikes, dancing away during down time and doing as much as they could to get the cash flowing.

With the support of Tesco Honiton & B Health & Fitness the collection day was a massive success and the team raised just over £500.

The team will continue to raise funds and sponsorship until the very last moment and anyone wishing to support the Trek26 will be able to do so by contacting Duncan Sheridan-Shaw at Tesco Honiton or any of the team at B Health & Fitness in Honiton.
