The former Tourist Information Centre located in Honiton's Lace Walk car park could become an eatery if proposed plans get the go ahead.

A planning application submitted in the early part of December 2019 by Mrs Petra Bright requests permission to turn the premises, previously used as offices for the Devon Freewheelers, into either a cafe or a restaurant.

The proposal details a 'change of use' from business use to 'hot food takeaways use'.

The plans are currently awaiting a decision.

Honiton Town Council will meet to discuss the application on Tuesday, 7 January, however the planning committee at East Devon District Council has the final say.
