Police in Honiton set out three main priorities

Police in Honiton have set out their policing priorities in a new report released today.

Honiton Neighbourhood Policing Team's Connectivity Plan explains the team's priorities going forward and gives the public an insight into the work done by local police officers.

The document states: "Our priorities are identified by using reported crime trends, issues and concerns you have told us about and other issues that have been identified through our community profile data."

Here are the three main priorities laid out in the plan:

  1. Drugs – County Lines
"Reduce trafficking of drugs in our communities and safeguard the vulnerable people involved.

  1. Anti-social Behaviour

"Reduce youth anti-social behaviour and deal with all associated criminal behaviour."

  1. Rural Crime -Theft from sheds and outbuildings
"Reduce criminal activity in our rural communities."
