Police investigating arson attack after car set on fire near Honiton

A Fire Engine from Honiton was called to a report of a car on fire at 4.16 this morning (Fri).
The car was in a lay-by at Limers Cross near Honiton and police have been informed that the cause of the fire was deliberate.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "On arrival crews confirmed this was one vehicle totally involved in fire and got to work extinguishing the fire with one hose reel jet.
"The car was totally destroyed by fire and there was some fire damage to the hedgerow."
