Police launch new witness appeal following Exeter death

Police have released CCTV images of four women that they wish to identify and speak to following a serious assault in Exeter that led to the death of a local man.The incident happened on Exeter High Street outside the Tesco Metro store on Saturday 30 June at around 11pm.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Derriford hospital where he died on Monday 9 July. Guy Pottle, aged 31 from Beacon Heath, Exeter, was charged in connection to the man's death.Detective Sergeant Sam Wenham, said: "Today we have released images of four women that we need to identify and speak to.
"All four woman were walking past the Tesco Metro Store in Exeter; moments later an assault took place which had tragic consequences."It's vital that we speak to these woman as they may have seen or heard something that could be vital to our police investigation. We hope the public can help us identify them, or this appeal will encourage them to come forward and to speak to us.
"If you know these women, or recognise yourself in the attached images, please call us on 101 and quote log number 482 for the 25th of July."
