POLICE UPDATE: Driver checked by ambulance crew following A30 crash

The A30 near Honiton at Stockland Hill, Upottery remains blocked both ways following an earlier incident involving a car.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at 1pm to the A30 at Honiton following reports that a vehicle had left the road and travelled down a bank.

"The driver is being checked over by ambulance crew.

"Emergency services remain at the scene."

Traffic is reported to be slow in the area.
