Police warn drivers 'road will be closed for some time' due to overturned lorry

The road is closed both ways on the A30 at Sandy's Lane.

This is due to a crash involving a car and a bin lorry between A303 (Upottery) and A35 (Honiton).

The incident was reported at approximately 8.20am this morning.

Devon and Cornwall Police tweeted: "We're on scene on the A30 at Upottery, Honiton.

"The road is CLOSED, and will be for some time."

"Highways South West have been requested for diversions.

"Please seek an alternative route and avoid the area."
