A national rail strike which is taking place from 21 to 25 June is expected to severely affect trains, including those coming through Honiton station.

Planned industrial action by the RMT union is taking place due to disputes over conditions and pay.

Great Western Railway, the railway operator, has recommended that people travel on these days only if necessary as severe delays are expected. They have said they will run as many trains as possible but there will not be any replacement buses and the trains that are in service will be very busy.

There will be no services to Honiton during the strike.

If you have booked a ticket for a strike day, you can get a full refund or amend your journey. If you are delayed by more that 15 minutes you might be able to claim compensation.
