UPDATE: The A375 Sidmouth Road is now clear following an earlier traffic incident at Exeter Road.

There are reports of heavy traffic in Honiton this afternoon (March 5).

This is due to an incident on the A375 Sidmouth Road at A35 Exeter Road, on the roundabout where the High Street starts.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police received a report at around 2.10pm this afternoon that a car had gone into the verge on the A375 in Honiton.

"This caused a build up of traffic which had to steer around the car to pass it.

"No injuries were reported and the car is being recovered."
