RTC Persons Trapped at Mill Street Ottery St Mary

Date: 05.02.2019Time: 13:02Location: Mill Street Ottery St MaryFire Control received a call for assistance from our colleagues in Ambulance requesting help with an RTC at the above location this lunchtime.One fire engine from Ottery St Mary and one from Honiton stations was mobilised to the incident.On arrival crews confirmed that one vehicle had left the roadway and collided with two stationary vehicles and a house. There was one female still within the vehicle who was physically unable to get out.Crews were able to identify a further means of escape via the back of the vehicle and were quick to assist in ensuring the casualty was moved to a place of safety.The casualty was left in the hands of the paramedics and the scene was handed over to police who will remain on site awaiting the arrival of a Building Surveyor who has been called to check the safety of the property hit by the colliding vehicle. These are the final details for this incident.
