See Mackarness Hall transformed into vintage treasure trove

Today [June 4] was the third instalment of the Textile and Brocante Fairs - held at Mackarness Hall, located just off Honiton High Street.

The events are run by Sheila Hyson, of Hyson Fairs Ltd, responsible for organising a whole host of vintage fairs, fleamarkets and Art Deco events in Devon and Southwest England.

Sheila said: "We've been hosting these fairs here in Honiton for around 20 years now.

"People seem to trickle in from all over and we attract a lot of enthusiasts for vintage costume and antique fabrics."

There are five specialist textile fairs taking place in Honiton this year, with two remaining on October 8 and November 12.
