Honiton Indian and Nepalese restaurant Taste of Gurkhas is reopening seven nights a week from tonight (Thursday) offering a takeaway service.

The popular High Street eatery is taking telephone orders from 4pm daily and collections will be staggered between 5.30pm and 9.30pm.

Keshab Kharel told Honiton Nub News: "We are looking forward to serving customers old and new.

"We will be opening seven days a week, but this will be under review depending on demand.

"For social distancing, people ordering will be given a specific pick-up time so we can set these at intervals to ensure there is only one customer inside the restaurant.

"We are unable to take telephone payments at this time and would ask customers to pay by card when they collect their order if possible."

Telephone orders can be placed on 01404 47786.
