Turf thrown onto Honiton Bowling Green - Police investigate

Police are investigating reports of damage to Honiton Bowling Green after mounds of turf were thrown onto the playing surface.
Police were called at 9.35pm yesterday [6 July] following reports of turf being thrown onto Honiton Bowling Green from a nearby public field.
A police spokesperson rold Nub News: "Reportedly a group of young people involved.
"Enquiries are being made to establish whether any damage has been caused to the green itself."
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, or has information about the incident, is asked to contact police via [email protected] or by telephone on 101, quoting log number 0856 06/07/20.
