Friday 23 September: Honiton Camera Club Meeting

Come along to a practical session with the Camera Club. Members will be bringing along their camera and discussing techniques.

The meeting starts at 7.30 pm and there will be refreshments available. Honiton Methodist Church (Chapel Street, off New Street, Honiton)

Saturday 23: Dr Ingrid Pollard and Dr Ella S Mills in Conversation

Thelma Hulbert Gallery, 5 - 7pm.

£5. Booking essential. The talk will be BSL interpreted.

Come along for a fascinating talk with exhibiting artist, Dr Ingrid Pollard and Dr Ella S. Mills from talking on corners. British artist and photographer Ingrid Pollard has been recently nominated for the 2022 Turner Prize. She is joined by Dr Ella S Mills, who is an Associate Lecturer in Art History, Modern and Contemporary Art at the University of Plymouth as well as the project curator for Ingrid Pollard: Three Drops of Blood.

Saturday 24 September: Albert Lee and his Band

The Beehive, 7.30pm.

Albert Lee is one of the finest guitarists the world has ever seen, and he has won two double Grammy Awards to prove it. He is also an accomplished piano player and has a fine singing voice.

Co-author of Country Boy, Lee has toured extensively around the world and worked with a range of artists, including Glen Campbell, Dave Edmunds and Dolly Parton.
