The Met Office have issued a Yellow Weather Warning for wind which covers Devon and much of the UK.

The warning comes into force tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9am, and lasts until midnight on the same day.

Storm Barra is expected to bring strong winds and it could create delays on road, rail, air and ferry transport.

There is also the potential for loss of power. Coastal routes and communities could be affected by spray and large waves.

Storm Barra is the second named storm of the season.

It comes just a week after Storm Arwen left thousands of people without power. Many people in the North East of England remain cut off.
