Not only has Andrew Palmer set up his own business as a self-employed electrician during the pandemic, but he also found time to train for and complete an ultramarathon.

On Saturday 22 May, Andrew successfully ran the Classic Quarter, a brutal, off-road ultramarathon from the southernmost point of England (Lizard Point, Cornwall), to the western most tip (Land's End), along the legendary South West Coast Path.

Devon County Council leader John Hart has refreshed his ruling Cabinet following last month's election victory.

Mr Hart, who represents Bickleigh and Wembury, was re-elected leader of the council at today's annual meeting. He will retain responsibility for policy, property and corporate matters and will chair the Cabinet.
