Honiton ticket machine down...as office due to close

Rail users may be interested to know that, what with the threat of ticket office closures, that the one ticket machine at Honiton station was not working this morning.

This caused a long line to form resulting in discussion among some rail passengers about the probability of getting on the train without a ticket and the inconvenience that this would cause.

Technology fails us, as was seen by the air traffic control fiasco!
