Honiton High Street.

East Devon District Council is looking for someone to take on the role of Deputy Operations Manager for its Streetscene service covering Honiton and the wider East Devon area.

The role would require the successful applicant to work out of the council's depots in Camperdown, Exmouth, and Manstone, Sidmouth. The position comes with a salary ranging between £28,785 and £31,371.

Devon County Council has confirmed the routes it will be gritting in the Honiton area this winter.

A report that goes before Devon County Council's Corporate, Infrastructure and Regulatory Services Scrutiny Committee next Tuesday will outline that the council's gritting policy will be virtually identical to that delivered last year.
