On Sunday 10 November, Honiton's annual Remembrance Day Parade will take place in New Street at 2.15pm - followed by the wreath laying and a service in St. Paul's Church on the High Street at 3pm.

The Honiton Branch of The Royal British Legion recently published this notice: "We have currently banked £20,562 for 2018/19 so a massive thank you to everyone involved and thank you to the people of Honiton.

East Devon District Council is pioneering a new way of helping its residents discover more about their recycling and waste service through the Amazon Alexa.

Honiton households who have an Amazon virtual assistant can now ask Alexa about recycling thousands of household items and seek advice on everything from checking when collections are, reporting missed collections and asking for new recycling containers with the answers being tailored to the residents' address.
