East Devon Scrutiny committee to set up a Task and Finish Forum to consider the ongoing future of the council's car parks

At a meeting of East Devon District Council's Cabinet on Wednesday 2 October, councillors discussed a report detailing proposed changes to car parking charges in East Devon and resolved to take the following steps:

The Trustees of Honiton Community Complex issue the following in response to the statement issued by Honiton Town Council:

"The council are in breach of a lease that they entered into with Honiton Community Complex ( HCC the charity which runs the Beehive), pursuant to which they owe HCC significant sums of money which they currently refuse to acknowledge and/or pay.

The following statement was made public by Honiton Town Council earlier today:

"It has been brought to the attention of the Town Council that Honiton Community Complex (HCC), the charity who are in possession of the lease at the Beehive are potentially considering entering into administration.

Howling Wolf Coffee is an independent hot beverages trailer, specialising in ethical, locally sourced coffee.

Rochelle Van Der Merwe and James Cady are behind the joint business venture, which officially got on the road in the early part of this year.

Honiton made the long trip down to Wadebridge Camels to play their first league game of the season in the Cornish county.
