Honiton travelled to Teignmouth for their second league fixture and with a much changed team from last weeks game, injuries and unavailability saw them make eight changes with five of them in the forward pack.

Teignmouth started the game at a fast pace and whilst they tested the visitors defence, Harry Wright was given a yellow card for offside at the break down near the try line.

Events are lined up throughout the day with live music on the entertainment stage and a cooking stage featuring chefs and food experts giving live demonstrations.

The Pickle Ride team stopped off in Honiton today (September 14), as part of a bike ride from Pendennis Point in Falmouth to the Admiralty Pub in Trafalgar Square, London.

The eight-man team of cyclists are undergoing the challenge as a fundraising event for the charity Care after Combat, which provides professional assistance for the wellbeing of veterans and their families.

Low income families in East Devon could benefit by an estimated £270,000 in extra support towards paying their council tax in a scheme which is currently out to consultation.

East Devon District Council's Cabinet has given the green light to consult on a draft Council Tax Reduction Scheme which proposes to increase the amount of council tax support for low income working age households. Pensioners will not be affected by the proposals.
