Garage Fire at Colliton Cross, A373

Two crews from Honiton were mobilised to multiple reports of a domestic garage on fire at a property.

On their arrival the crews found a garage well alight. Most of the structure was damaged before the crews were able to extinguish the fire using breathing apparatus, hose reels, a thermal imaging camera and small tools.

Vehicle Fire at Hayne Lane, Gittisham

Location: Hayne Lane, Gittisham

One fire appliance from Honiton was sent to a report of a vehicle on fire at the above location.
On arrival crews confirmed that the vehicle involved was smouldering and that it was blocking the public highway.  The car was 100% destroyed by fire, crews used one hose reel and a thermal image camera to deal with the incident. The Police also attended.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a neighbour reporting a fire in a domestic dwelling at the above location.

On arrival the incident commander confirmed a fire located on the ground floor of the property. Two firefighters were deployed with breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
