As part of the annual Glorious Open Gardens on behalf of St. Margaret's Hospice, the gardens at Cothay Manor will be open to the public on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June 2022 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

The romance of Cothay lies in part to its great age and the atmosphere that surrounds it. Cothay, a medieval manor near Wellington dates back to the 14th century and has been lovingly restored with period furniture. The gardens have achieved the highest accolade of two stars in the Good Garden Guide and in June 2012 featured in the Daily Telegraph's '20 Best Gardens in Britain'. Twelve acres of magical gardens surround the manor, with many garden rooms set off by a 200-yard yew walk. It is a plantsman paradise.
