On Friday, January 7, The Beehive is showing the Hollywood film Spencer.

The movie portrays Princess Diana's marriage to Prince Charles, which, ten years after their wedding vows, is in turmoil.

It centres around a Christmas weekend spent at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

Directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Steven Knigh, the film was released in November 2021 to critical acclaim.

Kirsten Stewart earned a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Princess Diana.

The Guardian newspaper gave the film five stars and described the film as 'extraordinary'.
