The Honiton Carnival 'Royal Family' for this year's East Devon Carnival season has been announced. After two years without the usual East Devon Carnival Circuit, it kicks off again on Saturday 3rd September in Seaton and Honiton's 'Royal Family' will be in attendance. This year's Carnival Queen is 17 year old Katie Nichol and she will be joined by two Carnival Princesses, 7 year old Phoebe-Rae Garman and 6 years old Amber Paver. Katie works locally and will soon be back to college and Phoebe-Rae and Amber both attend Littletown Primary School. Work on the Honiton Royalty float has been taking place and it promises to be a topical, colourful and lively entry. Honiton's own carnival takes place on Saturday 22nd October starting at 7.30pm and the seasonal Christmas Carnival will be on Saturday 3rd December at 5.30pm.
