'A great day' had by all - Honiton Carers enjoy a trip to Roadford Lake
Honiton Carers Support enjoyed a wonderful day at Roadford Lake, in brilliant sunshine on Wednesday 2 October.
Having enjoyed the fabulous drive to our destination, we enjoyed walking along the beautiful lake, had a delicious buffet lunch and some even enjoyed a boat trip around the lake.
We then walked to the sundial took a few photos and returned to the restaurant for an ice cream, or cup of tea, before we finally departed at 4pm.
The trip was funded by a Co-operative Community Grant, as Honiton Carers Support Group is one of the three chosen causes for the Honiton area this year.
The sun was still shining when we departed so we enjoyed the return journey just as much.
We would like to thank our Seward's Coach driver for all his help and support today, nothing was too much trouble for him. Great day!
