A highlight in the events' calendar for Honiton and the surrounding area, Beautiful Days, is the latest in a long list of cancellations as dictated by the pandemic.

The award-winning, family friendly music festival held at Escot Park just outside of Feniton is a popular end of summer celebration with an eclectic mix of live performances, creative arts and food and drink.

"This decision has not been taken lightly and we are very aware of the impact this news will have but it's unavoidable given the current global crisis," the statement read.

"The wellbeing of everyone involved in the festival and the wider local community is our top priority but the uncertainties around Covid-19 make it impossible for us to confidently plan and safely deliver the event this August.

"We want to send our love and best wishes to everyone who was set to attend, to perform, to work or to trade at the festival.

"We are really sorry we won't get to see you in Escot Park this summer.

"We'll be talking to artists over the coming months about moving to the 2021 line-up but no announcements will be made until later in the year.

"Ticket bookings for this year will automatically rollover to 2021 or refunds are available."

Full details can be accessed here on the festival website.
