Yesterday (Thursday 11 August) a woman's body was found near Sidmouth, according to Devon and Cornwall Police.

Formal identification is yet to take place, but the death is not being treated as suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner.

Sarah Buckingham (54) from Exeter was reported missing on Wednesday (10 August) and her family have been informed of the discovery.

A Devon and Cornwall spokesperson said: "The body of a woman has been located near Sidmouth today, Thursday 11 August.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

Formal identification is due to take place.
