Angry protesters are ramping up their campaign to force Honiton Town councillors to stand down.
An online petition calling for all elected representatives to resign and seek re-election already has more than 300 signatories.
Now organisers, action group Honiton Residents, are to distribute 4,000 leaflets around the town promoting their campaign.
A spokesperson said: "I'm ecstatic with the response we've had so far to the petition.
"It proves that this is the right course of action to take.
"The aim now is to get the message out to as many people in the town as possible.
"There are lots of areas in Honiton who might not yet be aware of what is going on.
"To help with this, we have had 4,000 leaflets printed, which we will be distributing over the next few weeks."
A lack of confidence in the way that the town council conducts itself is a view shared by many in the town.
Monday's meeting attracted the interest of thousands, both attending in person and online (see Honiton Nub News Facebook Live) - most of whom are unhappy with how current issues in the town are being dealt with.
One respected Honiton businessman, Joseph Furneaux-Gotch, expressed concerns over the use of Part B on the agenda - which excludes public witness.
He stated: "People who live and work in Honiton deserve to know what's going on," which was met by loud cheers from the public gallery.
The recent public uproar stems from controversy which stretches back nearly a decade - click below for a potted history of Honiton Town Council disputes.
