The Star Inn on New Street in Honiton, run by national pub chain J D Wetherspoon, has just finished having work done to replace the kitchen floor.
This has meant the kitchen had to be shut on Sunday evening (February 23), due to reopen today by 4pm.
Tom Fursdon, Pub Manager spoke to Nub News: "We had the floor replaced, which meant the kitchen has been closed for the past few days.
"This was to ensure we keep to the cleanest and highest possible standards in our kitchens.
"On Wednesday, 11 March we see some new drink and food items come onto our menu.
"New drinks include; 'Gordon's Sicilian Lemon Gin', 'Captain Morgan Tiki Rum', 'BrewDog Five Hundred Cuts Botanical Rum' and 'Kopparberg Passionfruit Cider'.
"We have six new cocktails coming in - ready for the summer!
"With the 'Hawaiian Pipeline Punch' which has the new 'Captain Morgan Tiki Rum' and 'Morgan's Original' mixed with the new can of 'Monster Pipeline Punch', which we will also be stocking.
"Our bottled red wines Trivento Malbec and Casillero del Diablo will be changing from the normal sized wine bottles to a mini 187ml glass to ensure top quality every time.
"Food wise, we have new Quorn nuggets being added; available as a small plate with chilli dip, as a Quorn nugget and salsa wrap and as a children's meal.
"There is a new carbonara pizza and the 'Beyond Burger' is replacing the current vegan burger.
"We are also adding the Mangalorean cauliflower curry to the main menu, replacing the sweet potato curry, although both will be available on our curry club menu on Thursday nights.
"It's also worth mentioning that our refillable coffee and teas cost £1.35 for a cup, which you can refill as many times as you desire.
"We support and feature local ales priced from £1.99 a pint with a few national favourite ales making appearances every week too.
"Breakfasts are served from 8am-12pm and we have food and drink deals on every day.
"At the end of March we will be looking to recruit for the Easter and summer holidays.
"Anyone interested, who is aged 16 or above (and has finished school) can click on the red button below and search for recruitment, or come into the pub and speak to me, Tom, or one of the other managers."
