UPDATE: A30 blocked both ways. Very slow traffic due to incident involving two vehicles at Viney Lane. Congestion to Honiton for the Northbound traffic and to Newcott for the southbound.

A crash has partially blocked the A30 near Honiton this afternoon.

The incident on the Eastbound lane of the A30 was reported to police at around 3.40pm.

Police report traffic is 'very slow' between the junction for the A35 and Hedgend Road, Monkton.

Congestion is reported to be particularly bad around Heathpark Industrial Estate.

Police are advising motorists to avoid the Eastbound carriageway.
