Devon and Cornwall Police are looking for a name for their new tractor.

Children under 12 have been invited to send in their suggestions to name the new tractor which made its very first appearance at the recent Devon County Show.

The machine has been loaned to the police force free of charge by local agricultural machinery dealership Masons Kings.

Dorset Police also have a tractor which has been named 'Robo Cop'.

The chosen name will be announced at the Woofstock Festival at Powderham Castle, which is taking place 16 - 18 June.

PC Clarke Orchard said: "At the Devon County Show we revealed the new asset, and the response from the public was fantastic.

"As we expected, the tractor sparked lots of informative and enlightening chats with farmers from across the county, but one question that kept being asked surprised us, children wanted to know what the tractor's name was.

"So, we have decided to throw it open to the kids of Devon and Cornwall, send in your suggestions and give the tractor its official name!"

The competition runs until midnight on 11 June and you can enter here.
