Feelgood Fantasia will take place on June 23 (The Beehive)

Local musicians, performers and choirs will come together at The Beehive for an unforgettable event later this month.

Put together by musical and creative director Edward Jacobs, Feelgood Fantasia will feature local performers Trichord and Hilda and James Clemas, as well as drummer Jim Newton, pianist Katarina Kovac and singers Jacqueline Bourne and Mary Bowles.

The artists will be joined by two local choirs.

83 members of the Axe Valley Community Choir will be performing and the Jurassic Coast Inspirational Choir will also be taking part.

Guests will enjoy the powerful chorus and band numbers as well as vocal solos and some surprising instrumental pieces.

A representative from The Beehive told Nub News: "The chosen title, 'Feelgood Fantasia' hopefully encapsulates all you will experience in this presentation - popular, catchy, and emotive songs, delivered by a band of energised musicians, vocalists plus the choirs.

"Sit back and relax to well-known classics, foot-tapping popular songs, fantastic film themes, dreamy Disney melodies and more!"

Feelgood Fantasia will take place on Friday 23 June at 7.30pm.

The bar will be open before and after the show.

Tickets are £23 of adults and £10 for those 16 and under. Carers will pay a reduced price of £19.
