Firefighters investigate Honiton car fire

Firefighters were called to a car fire in Honiton in the early hours of this morning.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire in Springfield Road at around 1am this morning.

Fire crews from Honiton and Ottery St Mary were sent to the scene and used a compressed air foam jet to extinguish the fire.

According to the fire service the car was 80% damaged by the fire and the cause of the incident is still being investigated.
