During the first week of April, Home Instead Exeter and East Devon put the kettle on for Hospiscare and joined in their coffee month to raise vital funds so that Hospiscare can support end-of-life care in the community.

Home Instead's family of CAREGivers were invited to visit their office in Budleigh Salterton where they were presented with an Easter goodie bag made up of a new Jute Home instead bag including a branded water bottle, a Lindt chocolate easter bunny, a pack of mini eggs, a pen, 10-year anniversary badge and a travel mug which was filled for them with coffee or tea.

Due to the amazing skills and generosity of the office staff and CAREGivers, their table was packed with yummy cakes and bakes and they also packed a hamper full of local treats which was raffled off.

The event was run over three days and they were astounded by the generosity of the team and raised a whopping £362 for this worthwhile cause.

The icing on the cake was when one of their clients won the hamper in the raffle after he and his live-in CAREGiver had baked and donated an impressive rainbow cake to the table!
