Honiton Carers enjoyed a wonderful guided walk on Wednesday 31 August with Ruth Worsley from AONB along Colyton River.

Ruth is a minefield of information who could tell us about animals, trees, plants and Colyton's fascinating history, I believe there is not much she does not know about Colyton.

We all learned a lot today and enjoyed the perfect weather and beautiful scenery to the full.

We finished off in the lovely Colyton Garden Centre where we all enjoyed a "Cuppa & Chat" the cakes were scrumptious to say the least, with a wonderful selection awaiting us (some with very unusual ingredients but absolutely delightful).

The Garden centre itself is just lovely and well worth a visit. Thank you to Andy from Trip for driving us safely there and back on a lovely scenic route and to Tesco Community Grant for funding the transport for our "Walk & Chat"

If you are an unpaid carer and would like to join our group please get in touch with Winnie Cameron on [email protected] or telephone 07974 636926. You are guaranteed a warm welcome.
