Honiton Carers enjoyed their latest get together and enjoyed the music and the raffle!

We had Helen Turner telling us some fabulous stories about her ongoing work with the Scouts, Cubs & Beaver. Helen presented each of the carers with a beautiful posy and a thank you card for what they do. Such a wonderful touch. Thank you, Helen.

Tim Royce, one of our own carers, entertained us on his guitar. He played a selection of Country & Western, Rock & Roll and other popular 60s & 70s tunes. Tim is a very accomplished player and was much appreciated by all.

We in addition had Pat, John & Katie visiting us from the Chard Carers group and they are hoping to arrange a return visit in the near future. Lovely to twin up with another Carers Group. Thank you for visiting.

The huge Lions Easter Egg Raffle was won by Carer Julie Spiller who was delighted!

Honiton Carers would like to sincerely thank the Honiton & District Lions for their donation.

The 2nd prize a wonderful birds cage made by Jessica Lloyd was won by Natalie Mitchell. Jessica had also made a beautiful wooden Easter egg for each of the Carers attending today. Thank you so much Jessica for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Honiton carers are much looking forward to a couple of forthcoming trips in the spring.

If you are a carer and would like to join the carers group please get in touch with Winnie Cameron either by emailing [email protected] or by phoning 07974 636926.
