At the regular meeting of the Honiton annd District Chamber of Commerce and Industry in May the committee elected a new Vice Chairman, Paul Fudge, who has been an active and supportive member of the Chamber for over a year.

Paul has been in the profession of funeral directing for many years.

Prior to his move to Honiton in 2017, he was working in Warwickshire, as an assistant manager, overseeing four funeral homes.

During his five years there, Paul served as a volunteer helping the community of Rugby.

In his role of manager, he would, along side his colleagues, raise money for local charities, such as Guide Dogs and the local Hospice.

Paul also spent several years as a funeral manager in the Province of Alberta, Canada, where he learnt different aspects of Funeral Services.

Now settled in Honiton, Paul continues his volunteering role and in addition to being a member of the Chamber he supports the local community as a member of the Otter Valley Rotary Club and as a Special Constable in  the local police force.
