Honiton: Coastal Boutique's new store is set to impress

A women's clothing store on Honiton High Street has moved to a bigger and more central location, 

Gemma Lindsay is the owner of Coastal Boutique, an independent women's clothing shop on Honiton High Street. 

The shop sells a large range of clothing including linen dresses, formal outfits, trousers, jeans, trainers, sandals and accessories. Much of the stock is sourced from abroad and Gemma has recently returned from Bali where she chose items herself to sell in her Honiton shop.

Earlier this month Coastal Boutique moved from their previous location at 61 High Street to a much larger shop which is located further down the High Street.

Sidmouth-based Gemma said: "We realised we had outgrown 61 High Street and this became available. We still own the one across the road and are deciding what to do with it at the moment. That's a new project for the next 6 - 8 weeks, which is exciting. It won't be an empty shop.

"We're able to sell much more stock now, which is great. We've also got the space for shoes and sandals. We sell Lunar and Blowfish, and they are very popular. 

"This new location has been fantastic. It is a far bigger space and we've got three changing rooms, a studio room and stock room - which was much needed! 

"We've also got a much better presence in our new location, so we've been very busy. Word of mouth has really helped too - people are popping in because their friends have seen us, which is lovely. 

"This is my ten-year project, so I plan to be here a while! We're here to help, so please pop in and say hello."

The Coast Boutique is now located at 62 High Street, Honiton.
