Honiton Friends of FORCE raised a brilliant £755.11 with a Great Devon Breakfast at the town's Mackarness Hall.

Organiser Doreen Cook said: "The atmosphere was wonderful and the success was all down to the big-hearted people of Honiton and the generosity of nearly 20 local businesses and individuals who support FORCE so brilliantly. It's a wonderful charity that helps so many local cancer patients and their families."

Her group served bacon and sausage baps with tea and coffee and there was also a raffle and a tabletop sale.

Naomi Cole, FORCE Community Fundraising Coordinator, said: "We are so grateful to Doreen and her crew for all their hard work. What a fantastic amount they raised. Sincere thanks to everyone who so generously supported this event and of course to everyone who went along."

"The Great Devon Breakfast campaign has raised more than £5,000 this year and we are incredibly grateful to each and every person who has contributed to this very tasty amount."

FORCE Cancer Charity offers free support to anyone locally affected by cancer from its main centre in Exeter and at Ottery St Mary Hospital.
