The results of the 2023 local elections have now been released.

The newly elected councillors for East Devon District Council and Honiton Town Council are confirmed below, together with the number of votes for each candidate who stood.

East Devon District Council

Honiton St Michael's (three councillors elected)

  • Jenny Brown (Conservative): 708 - HOLD
  • Violet Bonetta (Labour): 598 - HOLD
  • Roy Collins (The Liberal Party): 534 - GAIN FROM CON
  • Brice Cornelius (Conservative): 531
  • Paul Carter (Conservative): 508
  • Joanne Fotheringham (Independent): 477
  • Nicholas Ingham (Independent): 419

Honiton St Paul's (two councillors elected)

  • Tony McCollum (Independent): 642 - HOLD
  • John Diviani-O'Leary (Conservative): 460 - HOLD
  • Andrew Pearsall (Conservative): 454
  • John Taylor (no party): 329
