In what one of the owners has called an 'amazing achievement', The Coldharbour Field Kitchen has won Silver in the regional finals in the South West Tourism Awards.

The Field Kitchen was awarded Silver in the Casual Dining category at an award ceremony which took place at Cornwall's Eden Project.

It comes just weeks after the popular café won Gold in the Devon Tourism Awards.

The Coldharbour Field Kitchen only opened in June 2022, yet it has gone from strength to strength.

Located on East Hill and offering spectacular views over Ottery St. Mary and the surrounding countryside, it has fast become one of Devon's top-spots for delicious breakfasts, impressive brunches and delicious coffees. Popular highlights include bubble and squeak, pulled pork bap and grilled mushroom and halloumi burgers.

Inside the Coldharbour Field Kitchen (Nub News)

Coldharbour Field Kitchen co-owner Andrea Broadhurst told Nub News: "To win Silver in the regional finals on top of Gold in the Devon finals is such an amazing achievement for us.

"In all honesty, we've been so busy that we've not quite come to grips with just how big it is for us!

"Our success really is down to our brilliant, hardworking staff, and the local businesses and community who support us, and who we support in return.

"We know we're blessed with a beautiful venue and a stunning location but we also know we need to keep providing the best possible service and make every single customer feel welcome.

"We're looking forward to the warmer months when customers can get back out on the decking and enjoy our celebrated East Devon sunsets!"

Mazzard Farm, also on East Hill, won Gold in the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award category and The Pig at Combe won Gold in the Small Hotel category.
