Honiton Fire Service were among the crew called out to a gas cylinder on fire in Stockland yesterday (April 3) afternoon.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue issued this statement: "Fire engines from Honiton and Taunton were mobilised, along with the Environmental Protection Unit from Taunton.

"On arrival the crews confirmed that there was one propane cylinder well alight and got to work with a hose reel jet and a main jet.

"Fire crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a main jet and made the area safe."
