Honiton firefighters put out kitchen fire

Firefighters from Honiton put out a kitchen fire in Sheldon near Dunkeswell on Saturday (29 April).

Fire control received a call at around 2.15pm, and crews from Cullompton, Honiton and Wellington were sent to the scene.

Crews used a hose reel jet, thermal image camera, positive pressure ventilation fan and gas monitor to extinguish the fire and ventilate the property.

The cause was deemed as accidental.
