Honiton firefighters put out two vehicle fires, with police also at the scene

On Thursday 20 January, firefighters from the Honiton station responded to an incident involving two vehicles which were on fire.

According to a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, the vehicles were parked on the roadway outside a house.

It is believed that the fires were started deliberately and the police were also at the scene.

The fires were put out using hose reel jets with the use of a thermal image camera.

There was five per cent fire damage to the engine compartment of each car.
