On Thursday 20 January, firefighters from the Honiton station responded to an incident involving two vehicles which were on fire.

According to a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, the vehicles were parked on the roadway outside a house.

It is believed that the fires were started deliberately and the police were also at the scene.

The fires were put out using hose reel jets with the use of a thermal image camera.

There was five per cent fire damage to the engine compartment of each car.
