Honiton High Street will be lit up with Christmas lights later this month.

The annual switch-on is set to take place on November 19.

Honiton's Chamber of Commerce have organised the event and the town council will be invited to attend.

The event will start at 4.30pm but the main event will take place outside St. Paul's Church, which will commence at 5.30pm.

There will be a range of festive activities for families to enjoy, including Christmas music from Honiton Town Band, festive characters and gift bags for children under 10 years old. There will also be mince pies and carol singing.

Earlier in the day the Saturday Market will be running as usual.
