Honiton: Latest police crime figures show an increase in violent and sexual offences

There were 50 reported crimes in Honiton in January 2022

The police have released the latest crime figures for Honiton and they show that in January 2022 there were twenty violent and sexual offences reported.

In December 2021 there were eleven violent and sexual offences.

In total, there were fifty crimes reported in Honiton.

There were eleven cases of anti-social behaviour and three cases of criminal damage and arson, compared to seven which happened over the Christmas period.

In addition, there were two public order offences, three vehicle crimes and five drug offences.

Two other thefts and one burglary were reported.

There were three additional crimes that did not fit into the above categories.

60% of all the crimes committed remain under investigation.
